It was December 2, 2006 when Sara and Mike first met. Sara had just finished Basic Training 2 weeks before and now she was at a Christmas party for the Reserve unit she had just joined. Mike was already in the Army Reserves for 6 and a half years with one tour over seas in order to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. This was Sara's first time attending a Reserve training weekend and she was assigned to Sgt. Golderberg to help her around. Sgt.Goldberg has known Mike since he first joined and she has always thought he was a great soldier and a great guy. She introduced Sara and Mike and they immediatley hit it off. Sara and Mike since then for 2 years have been in love and having a great time being in it all while trying to protect this country and getting an education.
