I was 21 and Brian was 23. He had just moved to Chicago after finishing school at U of I and had begun his life in the "real world" as an engineer. I was taking a break from school, working, and just enjoying being 21. My friend Deidre was in town from Florida for one of our friend's weddings and wanted to hang out downtown with some of her old highschool friends. I'd only known most of them as acquaintances through her and school, so I basically just tagged along that night. Little did I know that I would spend the entire night talking and laughing with Brian. It finally took us a month to go out, and from there, with the help of Tara, Deidre, Val, and Cooper, we finally went out and the rest has led us here!
