We met over two years ago through our mutual friend Bryon. Moni then left San Francisco and went back to Brazil. After four months of phone calls and millions of emails ( who knew Myspace would be in our love story!) Moni came to visit David in Los Angeles and the rest is history!

Our wedding will be held in Curitiba, Brazil. Yes, I know many of you are saying Curti-what? Curitiba is approximately 497 miles (800 km) south of Rio and is in the state of Parana. It's one of the oldest cities in the Americas, founded in 1653 by the Portuguese. Curitiba is an ultra-modern city with a population approaching two million. It is not only modern, but it is a leader in many civic and industrial areas. For example, their transit system is a paradigm for the world. It is very similar to many U.S. cities. It will be summer at the time of the wedding. The climate is similar to that of the states of Georgia or South Carolina.

We will be traveling by air. By sea would take a tad too long!
