On our tour of this culturally rich colonial city, founded in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, we will get the chance to explore the city’s beautiful Catedral de Santa Maria la Menor, and we will visit the Alcazar de Colon, a Renaissance castle built by Columbus for his son Diego. After we wander the lovely little Colonial City, we will shop along the bustling flea markets for some treasures to take home with us. The rest of the day we will be enjoying a nice, romantic lunch at the Riverside Restaurant and then we’ll spend the rest of the afternoon at the National Aquarium exploring the many sea creatures it holds! What a day!
