Vatican City is a vacation in itself. Nobody can take in all that the City has to offer in one trip so we plan on visiting and revisiting the city around 4 times during our honeymoon!
We will relax in Saint Peter's Square, take tours of all of the museums, including the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Basillica, and we will climb the treacherous (and very narrow!) stairs to the top of the Saint Peter's Dome. We will take a tour of the Vatical Grottoes beneath the main floor of Saint Peter's and will be using a Vatican contact that Ashley has to set up a private tour of the Vatican Gardens and other private places outsiders can't access (which we can't discuss). This is by far going to be our most exciting time in Rome!
